The PULLING TEETH re-issue of 'Vicious Skin' is expected by the end of Sept. The cd will feature video bonuses; including the video for the song "Heretic". The concept is too ludicrious to explain but its definitely worth the wait. Pre-orders are now being accepted through our webstore. We are also offering the fourth installment of the Witches Sabbath 7" series with the cd. And just like the other records in the series, it's limited so order while there's still copies left. Currently the band is on their first full tour of Europe.

CELEBRITY MURDERS are settling on which songs to record fortheir next relase on Chainsaw Safety. As reported earlier, it's going to be a 7". We're still working out all thedetails but hopefull by the end of the year this will see the light of day.

DISNIHIL just got back from the short US tour and want to thank everyone who helped make it a success.

SPLITTING HEADACHE took the summer off but plan on having some shows lined up in the Fall.

We plan on having copies of the new DEATHCYCLE , THE HORROR and DISNIHIL stuff inthe webstore. We also dug out some older titles and non-Chainsaw Safety releases from some of our bands too.

No, we didn't get transported back in time to 1995. You are reading the shows page correctly. DOC HOPPER are doing 2 reunion shows at the end of this month. They were one of the first bands on the label way back when and it's going to be great to see them play again. So in addtion to the ONLY LIVING WITNESS shows this month, we have two old bands from Chainsaw Safety back on stage.

The SPLITTING HEADACHE 7" is practically sold out sold out of the first pressing. We have a few copies remaining but its selling fast.

PULLING TEETH filmed a video for the song 'Heretic". It will be inlcuded on the re-issue of Vicius Skin. There will also be a number of other bonus vidoes and a new layout of the artwork. . We hope to have it out before their European tour in the fall.

So we finally figured out the technical glitches and are back in business. Thanks for continuing to check in , both through emails and simply getting in touch to see what's been going on with the label. Everything's been going full steam ahead, it was just not listed here.

The SPLITTING HEADACHE 7" is finally out! The World's My Aim was released last week and it's been well worth the wait. We'll have copies in the webstore this week. Right now the band has a handfull of shows scheduled over the next month.

DISNIHIL just completed a weeklong tour of the South East. Thanks f\to everyone who came out and supported them.The 12" version of their debut album is now available through the webstore. Band is gearing up for the next 7", to be released on Lifeline Records.

PULLING TEETH have made history. They now hold the disctintion of being the first Chainsaw Safety band to tour Japan! They recently spent a week there, in between dates on their current US tour. The cd, Vicious Skin, is sold out of its intial US pressing. We're discussing the format and bonus material that will be included in the re-issue. We expect to work on this project throughout the summer and we'll keep posted on the goodies we hope to include.

DEFEATIST secured a spot for the upcoming Maryland Death Fest to be held with Memorial Day weekend. More shows to come afterward.

THE HORROR are also playing a few festivals this summer. They are headling the Be Part Festival (Stuttgart, Germany) this summer.

CELEBRITY MURDERS are in the final stages of pre-prodcution for their newest release. Meanwhile, they have been hitting the stage quite frequently these last few months.

And from our distant past : ONLY LIVING WITNESS has scheduled two reunion shows in June. The band will be playing songs from their 2 albums and most defitntely the tracks for the 7" they did with us. If we find any copies lying around we'll bring them to the show for sale.

It's been a great year for Chainsaw Safety: the DISNIHIL cd; the DEFEATIST 7" ; the return of CELEBRITY MURDERS to the stage; THE HORROR's triumphant return to the US; and a number of other great accomplishents. Thanks to everyone who helped with the countless shows that were organized and to everyone else who supported the great bands that we are fortunate enough to have on the label.

FRIGHTENER had a blast on their US tour. It was capped by a tour of the film locations for 'Goodfellas'. Thanks to everyone who helped out on their tour with PULLING TEETH.

The SPLITTING HEADACHE 7" is being put together. We're hoping for an early '08 release at the rate it's being manufactured.

CELEBRITY MURDERS just demoed a bunch of new songs. They are faster and more frantic than anything on their debut album. Their debut album was described as an insanity sandwich with a side order of kick ass. The new collection of songs is a salad bar of madness!

DISNIHIL and DEFEATSIT are constantly playing the East Coast in support of their recent records.

THE HORROR were drunk in Germany earlier this month. And they decided to play a few shows while they were in between rounds. They're also gearing up to record thier second full length record.

We got the FRIGHTENER cd's from the manufacturer. They should be in the webstore (and dirt cheap too!!!) by the end of the week. Be sure to check them out on their US tour with PULLING TEETH. It kicks off this Wednesday, October 30th.

DEFEATIST are booking a short Mid West tour this November. They are pulverizing middle America over the Thanksgiving weekend. Be afraid.

We got the artwork in from SPLITTING HEADACHE. Hopefully we'll get this out sooner than later. We'll keep you posted on it's progress.

DISNIHIL should have a 12" version of their debut available in the next few weeks. Chronic Death Records will be handling the vinyl ad we'll getsome for the webstore.

We're adding another band to the roster: FRIGHTENER from the UK have found their American home at Chainsaw Safety! The band is a perfect blend of everything that we've released so far this year: heavy; dark; fast and powerful as hell! To coincide with their upcoming US tour with PULLING TEETH , we're domestically releasing their debut album on cd. Look for it in our webstore at the end of this month.

THE HORROR are looking to record their next full length by the year's end. With that relase we hope to get them back to the States sooner than later.

The response to the DISNIHIL cd has been awesome. Thanks to everyone's initial praise and support for this release.

Sadly, COBRA NOIR have decided to call it quits. They will be playing their final show at the end of this month.

DISNIHIL just completed a successful Midwest tour two weeks ago. Thanks to eveyone who came out to support them. And an extra special thanks to everyone who prank-called the radio show in Madison,WI. Their debut cd is out and available in our webstore. They're booking more shows for the rest of the year.

Hell has frozen over...the DEFEATIST 7" is finally out! In Praise of False Hope is now available through our webstore. The band has been playing in the area and plans on spreading their insanity throughout the East Coast. They have already been confirmed to play next year's Maryland Death Fest.

SPLITTING HEADACHE have completed recording their debut 7" for Chainsaw Safety. It's titled The World is My Aim. They're working on the artwork. We hope to get it out to you by the fall of this year.

Earlier this month, CELEBRITY MURDERS shocked the world by playing twice in one week! They now have a new second guitarist: Eddie Ortiz of CattlePress, Subzero fame! Elway still resides in Richmond and Sean is now stationed in New Jersey. The band is pulling a few new songs togheter. There's talk of a new 7" at the beginning of 2008.

We'd like to announce SPLITTING HEADACHE to the ever growing Chainsaw Safety family! The NJ quintet are recording a 6-song seven inch within the next two weeks at the world famous Technical Ecstacy Studios. Be on the lookout for more updates as they develop.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see PULLING TEETH on their last outing. I travelled with them throughoutthe Northeast and it was a blast!

The debut DISNIHIL cd is currently at the manufacturer. It should be out by the end of July / early August. The band is currently booking a Midwest tour. Check out the SHOWS page for updates.
