It seems like this label has been around forever. How long has Chainsaw Safety been in existence?
As of this past July, the label has been running for 16 years!!! One day we will break even! |
We want you to hear our band. How do you want to listen to us?
We’d prefer that you send a demo. Yes, even in this digital age, we prefer physical demos. Besides hearing the music, we also want to get an idea of how the band presents itself (graphics and whatnot).

We see that one of the bands is playing NYC. Can we get on the show? Can you book us a show in NYC?
We don’t book shows in the area and when we book tours it’s only for label bands when they need help. However, there are a number of people and places that can help you in the area. If you email us, we’ll send you current places and people doing shows but there’s no guarantee it will work out. |
How come all the releases from the catalog are not on the site?
Currently everything we have in print is listed here. We are currently putting together a full discography page that will show everything we’ve done and have stories to accompany each one. |

If you’re interested in trading for single copies, I always like to hear new music. We do not distribute any other labels right now. |
How come there are non Chainsaw Safety things for sale through the web store?
We carry our bands non label stuff so people can get it easier. |
Where can we buy your stuff?
Besides directly from us, we’re distributed through Ebullition worldwide. Our stuff is available in most major web stores. If you want to see our stuff in new places tell us where to go and we’ll try to make it available. |
